1. Scope
This AI Use Policy applies to TROPIKAL AI platform services provided by TROPIKAL LLC, including the Owner Chat, Website Chat, Calendar Booking, and News Feed Components; APIs, integrations, Jobs, Review, Activity, Websites, Knowledge & Capabilities, and generated output.
The developer site at tropikal.dev has separate AI-use guidance at tropikal.dev/ai-use. If a signed agreement has stricter requirements, the signed agreement controls.
2. Alpha AI Features
Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, TROPIKAL AI features are alpha-stage software. They may change, break, be removed, be unavailable, or produce unexpected results.
AI output can be wrong, incomplete, biased, unsafe, outdated, or unsuitable. TROPIKAL does not guarantee accuracy, uptime, revenue, rankings, bookings, leads, compliance, or business outcomes unless those commitments are stated in a signed written agreement.
3. Human Review
Approved deterministic and low-risk actions may run automatically, including booking confirmation after a visitor explicitly confirms an available slot. Consequential, destructive, uncertain, or high-impact actions require confirmation or human review. Customers remain responsible for safe permissions, accurate sources, escalation paths, and end-user notices.
Customers are also responsible for accurate business information, approved sources, safe instructions, escalation paths, end-user notices, permissions, and connected systems.
4. AI Disclosure
Customer-facing AI interactions must clearly disclose AI use where required by law, platform rules, or the context of the interaction. Public or embedded workflows should tell people when they are interacting with AI and that AI can make mistakes.
5. No Professional Advice
AI output is not legal, medical, financial, tax, employment, insurance, safety, emergency, or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for those matters.
6. High-Risk Restrictions
Do not use the Service to make final decisions about healthcare, legal, financial, insurance, employment, housing, credit, education, public benefits, safety, emergency response, or similar high-impact matters without proper written approval, lawful basis, and human review.
7. Prohibited Uses
Do not use AI workflows for unlawful activity, deception, undisclosed impersonation, spam, malware, credential theft, scraping abuse, harassment, hate, violence, self-harm facilitation, sensitive-data misuse, privacy violations, intellectual-property infringement, or attempts to bypass safety, security, rate-limit, billing, or access controls.
8. Connected Systems
Do not expose website resources, database fields, admin actions, internal tools, customer records, secrets, or connected systems unless they are safe and authorized. Destructive actions, uncertain bulk updates, publication, deletion, unapproved external messages, and irreversible changes require appropriate permission and review. Managed actions retain an audit trail and correction path.
9. Enforcement
TROPIKAL may suspend, limit, remove, or disable unsafe AI workflows, abusive use, unlawful use, or configurations that create unacceptable risk for users, customers, third parties, or TROPIKAL.
